Can I bring my dog?

We welcome dogs at all Moonlight Cinema locations excluding Perth. Dogs are not permitted at Moonlight Cinema Perth in order to protect the native wildlife of Kings Park and Botanic Garden. Guide dogs and Service dogs are permitted at all venues including Moonlight Cinemas Perth.

We also have a limited number of dog-friendly bean beds available for hire at the venue on a first come, first served basis for $10 each.

For our dog friendly venues, dogs are welcome in all sections including Connoisseur Lounge, AAMI Gold Grass and Mr. Stubbs Platinum Experience. We ask that dog owners be considerate of other patrons and make sure their dogs are under control at all times.

Please take note of Moonlight’s Dog Policy and House Rules:

a) Any dogs brought to Moonlight Cinema must be supervised and kept under effective control by means of a short leash (2m or under) at all times. This is the responsibility of the owner

b) In accordance with the Companion Animals Act (1998) all dogs must wear a collar with its name and the name and contact details of its owner.

c) Dog owners must clean up their dog’s droppings and dispose in bins available

d) The owner is required to respect the park as well as other patrons. Owners must ensure their dogs are kept quiet during the film. Please bring a drinking container and plenty of water for your dog.

e) Aggressive dogs will be denied entry. If a dog becomes aggressive or disruptive, the owner will be told to immediately remove their dog from the venue at Moonlight Cinema’s discretion

f) Dogs that are classified as “dangerous” or “restricted”, and dogs needing to be muzzled, will be denied entry.

If you are uncertain about the definition of “dangerous” and “restricted” dogs, please contact us HERE
