Can I upgrade my booking?

If your booking was made directly through Moonlight Cinema or Event Cinemas, and your original booking is more than 24 hours from commencement, you can upgrade your tickets using the online self-serve swap tool. 
 

To upgrade: 

  • Open your Booking Confirmation Email 
  • Click ‘Change Your Session’ 
  • Follow the prompts to select a new ticket type of equal or higher value (you’ll just pay the difference at checkout) 
     

A few things to keep in mind: 

  • Each booking can only be swapped once 
  • The entire booking must be upgraded together 
  • Upgrades must be for the same Moonlight venue originally booked in 
  • Changes must be confirmed at least 24 hours before the original booked session start time 
     

If your booking is still more than 24 hours away, and the online self-serve swap tool isn’t allowing you to upgrade, please contact us HERE for assistance.   
 

Please note the follow booking types are not eligible for upgrades.

  • Bookings made via partners or third-party providers (e.g. Telstra Plus, Commonwealth Bank, Groupon) cannot be upgraded 
  • Bookings made with a rainout credit
  • Bookings with voucher redemptions 
  • Bookings with Cinebuzz points redemptions 
  • Bookings within 24 hours of the session start time 

 

If your booking is within 24 hours of commencing, you cannot access the online self-serve swap tool. In this case, changes are no longer permitted to your booking.
